WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

“Study of Women of God”

A small women’s bible study group will begin on Thursday, September 11 at 6:30 pm.  This group will meet twice a month (the second and fourth Thursdays each month). The group will be facilitated by Rene’ Johnson and Cindy Proper.  It will be held at Cindy Proper’s home at 5906 Clover Road, Harrisburg, PA, 17112.  Childcare will be provided if you notify Rene or Cindy prior to the next meeting.  Please contact Rene’ Johnson at 717-557-9043 by August 28 if you would like to attend, so enough books can be purchased.

The Twelve Disciples

Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 5th @ 11:00 am (in person)

 & Thursday, Nov. 6th @ 7:30 pm (Zoom)

Starting in November, we will spend six weeks on a series entitled “The Twelve Disciples.” This informative introduction  to the twelve disciples shows how Jesus called the Twelve individually – and uniquely – for intimacy with him and ministry for him.  They were fishermen, a tax collector, a twin, a rebel and brothers.  They were believers and doubters, sometimes courageous and sometimes cowardly.  For three years, Jesus shared his teachings with them and gave his life for them.  We will learn more about who these regular guys were that Jesus chose to be his disciples.  What can we learn from their lives?  What does it mean for us to be disciples of Jesus?
