Greetings,

As Pastor of the Fairmont Community Church, I am honored to be a part of this wonderful ministry. This congregation has a very rich history of service to Christ that goes back more than 100 years. That is over 100 years of carrying out the Great Commission.

As we move into the future we will continue the hard work and dedication to Christ as we strive to reach the next generation with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. I believe that God has many great opportunities ahead for this congregation as we seek God’s leading in ministry to change lives.

Come join us as we worship and celebrate the One who brings us, hope, peace, life and love; our Savior Jesus Christ. Our worship begins at 10:30 a.m. We also, have Sunday school for all ages at 9:00 a.m.

Pastor David Tressler

About Our Pastor:

Pastor David was born and raised in the small farm town of Elimsport, PA, only a few miles south of Williamsport, PA. At the age of eight, he accepted Christ as Savior during VBS at the local Baptist Church. At the age of twelve, he was baptized. David graduated from Watsontown Christian Academy in 1985 and then went on to studies in Bible and Pastoral Ministry at Lancaster Bible College, graduating in 1989 with a B.S. degree.

Before David took his call to Fairmont Community Church he served as the Associate Pastor at the Mount Joy Church of God for ten years. His responsibilities encompass ministering to a wide range of ages from youth to senior citizens. Prior to his ministry at Mount Joy, he served as Pastor of small group ministries at Salem United Methodist Church in Manheim, PA.

David enjoys reading, golfing, bowling and biking.
